Our family’s journey to real food, and sharing healthy living tips and information.

Welcome to Bartlett Farms!
As a family, we’ve been on a journey learning how our bodies work and how the food we eat affects our health.
We’re excited you’re here too!
When Lynn discovered she was dealing with Hashimotos, an autoimmune thyroid disease, we began searching and learning about functional nutrition and how eating real food and living a healthy lifestyle can dramatically improve our quality of life.
We learned that you aren’t a product of your genetics and that by changing your habits to reduce toxins and increase nutrients you can change your health and the health of your family for generations to come.
And that’s why Bartlett Farms is here.
Starting in 2004, the Bartlett family (Jim, Lynn, Jonathan, Peter, Andrew, and David) began a homesteading adventure in the Turtle Mountains of ND where the family could work together and implement a Christian worldview of life on a daily basis, while experiencing the healthy atmosphere of a productive farmstead.
Now over 15 years later, the animals we raised for our own food supply have become the products that now serve hundreds of families across North Dakota.
Thanks to people like you, Bartlett Farms is a thriving family farm and real food business dedicated to making the most nutrient dense foods available with delivery straight to your door in Minot, Bismarck, Williston, Fargo, Grand Forks and more!
Not only are we passionate about growing the best foods, but our mission is to educate and inspire so that together we can create healthier families and thriving homes that impact generations to come.
Let’s get started!
We
Believe
Food Is Medicine
At Bartlett Farms, we believe the quality of our food directly affects our health. Chronic disease, cancer, diabetes, arthritis, and so much more has been the direct result of overprocessing of food and a lack of nutrients in our diets. That’s why our emphasis on traditional diets of properly prepared, nutrient-dense, whole foods is crucial to anyone desiring to improve their health.
We Care
Because we’ve experienced the difference food makes, we deeply care about helping you find the same healing and growth that we’ve discovered. In everything we do, we want you to know you are well cared for by our team of knowledgeable staff.
We Are Informed
We Are Thorough
Faith is the Foundation
Family is Priority

TheBartlettStory
You probably wouldn’t believe us if we told you our “plans” when we started back in 2004. No farming in our background, no knowledge of animals, no business experience, no house, no electricity, and no water. Just bare land and a dad and mom with four energetic young boys!
It took a lot of courage for dad to leave his teaching career at NDSU and plant our family flag in the uncharted territory of the Turtle Mountains. Seriously, it couldn’t have happened without God’s faithful provision.
But here we are over 15 years later still going strong and AMAZED at what has fallen into place along the way!
2004
- with a popup camper and semi-trailer full of belongings and started building our house. Got our first two chickens “Lewis and Cluck”, and started learning to garden, raise goats, and grow our own food.
2009
Got our first cow
- sold broiler chickens, and sold our first cow-share for raw milk
2010
- and delivery routes to Minot.
2011
- cow-shares legal in ND and won
2013
- due to Bakken oil field boom. Bought additional cows for raw milk.
2015
- and more delivery routes accross the state
2019
- One of the most encouraging parts about growing the farm has been getting to know people like you and watching your kids being raised right.
